It's a terrible scam - Animal Rights "Humane Society"

Terms like that, "Humane Society," are devised with common people in mind, who don't care to dwell on what really happens to dogs, cats, pets and animals or their owners who are the innocent.
Michael W. Fox, vice-president of the Humane Society, said that, "to call an animal with whom you share your life a 'pet,' is reminiscent of men's magazines where you (a figure of speech, don't take it personally) have the Pet of the Month." It is supposed that the continued use of the word "pet" to designate dogs or cats threatens to reduce their level of respect to the current status of twentieth century North American women. ~The McGill Red Herring
PETA ad campaigns continue to roll off the press in PETA naked high profile "star" public nude and near-nude photo campaigns. It would appear that Michael W. Fox and the "Humane Society" has a blind eye (from his statement above) to their definition of "Pet of the Month."
The "Humane Society" ought to be targeting PETA Nudity Ads for the essence of hypocrisy in the "Humane Society" and PETA both representing North American women as PETA "Pets of the Month" in their own Animal Rights and nudity ad campaigns.
An "Animal Rights" activist generally has two reasons for doing a thing. One that sounds good, and a real one.
Exactly what benefit has the HSUS also termed "Humane Society" provided to innocent and responsible dog, cat, and pet owners or their pets? Or has the HSUS and PETA been solely responsible to their own alleged "real" motivation of their millions in dollars of money in their pocket-books by donations and these activists are just 'sounding good' in their public statements for animal rights.
Today's Animal Rights activists have "perverted" once-sensible animal welfare goals and owner responsibilities by putting animals ahead of human beings and employing a "by any means necessary" philosophy to achieve their goals of "total animal liberation" and the destruction of pet ownership rights of the common man, woman or child.
Led by PETA, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), and other activist groups, the animal liberation movement does not seek to improve 'pets and animals' lives. Its goal is to place unnecessary legal restrictions on ordinary people and pet owners like yourselves.
Today's "Humane Society" HSUS and PETA activists want to force you to eat nothing but beans and greens. They want to ban hunting, fishing, zoos, rodeos, and circuses and ultimately 'legally end with laws and ordinances' any pet ownership.
Some activists want to outlaw the use of animals in the search for cures for AIDS, Parkinson's Disease, and Cancer. And a growing number of Animal Rights activists, are crossing the line from peaceful protest to violent crime. Other activists have allegedly trained animal control officers, who allegedly take the law into their own hands, by a "perverted" enforcement of animal control laws and ordinances to destroy pets thru pro-active pursuit of euthanasia and the incarceration of pet owners for questionable pet offenses around the country.
It's a terrible scam - Animal Rights. The world deserves to know the truth. History is the chronicle of divorces between creed and deed. As with history, like Noah in the Ark, it always begins with the animals.

On 18 Nov 07, a 44 year old female school mate of an Omaha woman who owned a Rottweiler dog for backyard security, was severely attacked by the dog in an unprovoked attack causing massive injuries to the friend's arm.
"I had no chance to be afraid." "As soon as I saw the eyes of the Rottweiler I knew I was going to be attacked." -- stated the severely injured friend who requested anonymity."
The onslaught of the Rottweiler dog attack on the dog owner's long time friend, temporarily caused the Rottweiler pet to be incarcerated at the Nebraska Humane Society, however, the Rottweiler was released in two days back to the owners without any apparent requirement for additional measures protecting the public or people on their property from potential future attacks by this Rott. Backyard Security Dog.
National experts in Rottweiler dog ownership, training, and management disclosed a potential theory of a lack of quality 'ownership handling/training' in recognizing and identifying aggressive signs, leading to the unprovoked severe attack.
No further information has been received from the dog owners or Nebraska Humane Society, regarding the cause of the attack, but the dog is back in the home and backyard as before.
Questions regarding whether appropriate measures were taken to properly train, and handle a family backyard dog maintained for security guard duties and why the Nebraska Humane Society released the dog so quickly, are being asked by various animal organizations and agencies.
The apparent immediate return of the Rottweiler security dog to it's owners 'without' additional private property and public access protections from future attacks of this aggressive dog, and lack of citation from the Nebraska Humane Society of it's owners is also in question by animal organizations.
The victim, is reported having Thanksgiving Day, awaiting major skin grafting of her arm, over the many weeks to come, and facing thousands of dollars in medical bills, without any assistance.
The dog remains at home, nothing changed except for the 'blood sport' now obvious to it's aggressive behavior.
